Brothers in Arms - to my Palestinian brothers.

Dear Brothers in Arms,

Not a day gone by,
When Doves say no to the sky,
When injustice is in sly,
Can my mind rest in peace and lie.

But, we are the Brothers in Arms,

Though I am no commander,
Nor medic of the greatest healer,
We are - in this together,

You will see that one day;
When doves really fly,
Will the flowers that we wear,
Be the symbols that I bear

To all this freedom that I fight,
Let this one day go away
Let me fly away
With the mandate in my hand
For our grandchildren’s children
And their children’s children
